Containers for solid and liquid waste and waste sorting

At Transpiedra, we provide businesses, industries, ships, port operators and professional clients with a wide range of waste containers, tailored to the storage, sorting and management needs of different types of waste.

We offer specific solutions for solid waste, liquid waste, waste containing drips, non-hazardous waste segregated at source and MARPOL waste, providing practical and versatile formats that facilitate more organised and appropriate management in each case.

Our range includes plastic-coated big bags, 220-litre drums, IBC containers, 800-litre bins, sorting stations and lidded bins, with options designed for different volumes, types of waste and usage environments.

Packaging solutions tailored to every type of waste

Choosing the right packaging is an essential step in any waste management process. Not all materials require the same format, nor can they all be stored in the same way: dry solid waste, materials containing liquids that may leak, and bulk liquid waste all require different solutions.

That is why, at Transpiedra, we offer a range of packaging designed to meet specific needs, including:

  • Temporary storage of solid waste
  • Containment of liquid waste
  • Collection of waste containing leaks
  • Separation of non-hazardous waste at source
  • Management of waste from maritime and port activities
  • Organisation of recycling collection points

Available packaging types

1 m³ plastic-coated big bags

Plastic-coated big bags are a practical solution for the collection and storage of solid waste. Their large capacity allows materials to be contained in a single flexible container, making them easier to handle during collection and management processes.

This type of container is suitable for dry or solid waste that does not require a rigid container and does not leak liquids.

Recommended use

Solid waste.

Plastic-coated big bag
Approximate capacity: 1 m³
Dimensions as per specifications: 1 m long, 1 m wide and 1 m high

220-litre recycled PVC screw-top drum

The recycled PVC screw-top drum is designed for waste which, although mainly solid, may contain liquid residues or drips that prevent it from being stored in a big bag.

Thanks to its sealed design, it is a more suitable option when greater containment of the waste is required and spillage needs to be prevented during storage prior to collection or treatment.

Recommended use

Solid waste containing some liquid that may drip and which should not be placed in a big bag.

Key features

  • Screw-top drum
  • Made from recycled PVC
  • Capacity: 220 litres
  • Dimensions as per technical specifications:
    • Width: 60 cm
    • Height: 102 cm

220-litre polyethylene double-spout drum

The polyethylene double-spout drum is a solution designed for the collection and storage of bulk liquid waste. Its design allows the waste to be contained in a sealed container specifically designed for this purpose.

It is a suitable option for businesses or work environments that need to store moderate quantities of liquid waste prior to disposal.

Recommended use

Bulk liquid waste.

Key features

  • Two-spout drum
  • Made from polyethylene
  • Capacity: 220 litres
  • Dimensions as per technical specifications:
    • Width: 58 cm
    • Height: 95 cm

1 m³ recycled IBC container

The recycled IBC container is a high-capacity solution for liquid waste management. Its cubic shape and 1 m³ capacity make it a suitable option when a larger volume of liquid needs to be stored in an organised manner.

This type of container is commonly used in industrial, logistics or professional settings where the generation of liquid waste requires a larger solution than a conventional drum.

Recommended use

Liquid waste.

Key features

  • Recycled IBC container
  • Approximate capacity: 1 m³
  • Dimensions as per specifications:
    • Length: 1 m
    • Width: 1 m
    • Height: 1 m

Sorting station with 800-litre bins

The sorting station with 800-litre bins is designed to facilitate the sorting of non-hazardous waste at source. It is a solution designed to organise different waste streams at a single collection point, promoting clearer and more functional separation.

It can be used for materials such as:

Cardboard
Plastic
Organic waste
Scrap metal
Wood

This option is particularly useful in industrial, port, logistics or corporate settings where various types of non-hazardous waste are generated and need to be kept separate from the outset.

Recommended use

Non-hazardous waste sorted at source.

Key features

  • Sorting platform with bins 800-litre bins
  • Dimensions as per technical specifications:
    • Length: 395 cm
    • Width: 245 cm

4 m³ tank with lid

The 4 m³ tank with lid is designed for the management of MARPOL V waste, categories A, B and C, whilst at anchor, according to the information contained in the Transpiedra dossier.

Annex V of the MARPOL Convention regulates the prevention of pollution by garbage from ships and applies to vessels operating in the marine environment.

This tank provides a specific solution for operations relating to the reception, storage and management of waste derived from maritime activity, within the scope of the MARPOL services that are already part of Transpiedra’s operations. The company presents itself on its website as a MARPOL agent and service provider, as well as operating in waste management and transport from Algeciras.

800-litre bin for separate waste collection

The 800-litre bins allow for the organisation of waste collection for different types of waste through colour-coding, making it easier to separate materials according to their type.

According to the Transpiedra brochure, they can be used for:

  • Blue: paper and cardboard
  • Yellow: plastic and light packaging
  • Grey or green: municipal solid waste

This format is suitable for collection points in facilities, businesses, port areas, industrial sites or areas where non-hazardous waste needs to be collected separately.

Recommended use

Separate collection of paper and cardboard, plastics and light packaging, and municipal solid waste.

Key features

  • 800-litre bin
  • Colour-coded system according to waste type
